We see ourselves through the eyes of others. The object is an awareness of this and also challenges us to take a stand.

The frame is a boundary, but you also meet yourself in it. The viewer is drawn into the work and becomes an active participant. You can turn away, walk around it and encounter the same boundary again.

The choice of the round sling, the knotting method and the (existing) text on the round sling feel the heaviness that hangs over us.
